People and Culture Lead

About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and strategic People and Culture Lead to champion our team’s growth, well-being, and overall employee experience. This role goes beyond traditional HR—it’s about fostering a thriving culture, building systems that support high performance, and ensuring people feel valued, heard, and empowered. As our People and Culture Lead, you will play a key role in shaping how we hire, grow, and retain talent, while also driving culture-forward initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead talent acquisition processes, ensuring we attract and hire mission-aligned, high-performing individuals
  • Oversee onboarding, employee engagement, and professional development initiatives
  • Champion company values, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and a healthy work culture
  • Develop and implement policies that support productivity, accountability, and well-being
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on people-related matters and organizational development
  • Manage performance review cycles, promotions, and feedback mechanisms
  • Create and maintain HR documentation, including contracts, employee handbooks, and internal communications
  • Monitor and report on key HR metrics (e.g., retention, engagement, training)
  • Lead conflict resolution, mediation, and grievance procedures when needed
  • Stay current on labor laws and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s or HR certifications are a plus)
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in HR, people operations, or a culture-building role
  • Strong understanding of talent management, performance systems, and organizational design
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and handle sensitive matters with discretion and empathy
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and digital collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, etc.)
  • A people-first mindset with a strategic approach to team development.
