Job Summary
The Media and Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing communication strategies to build brand awareness and promote Tespire’s mission and values. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in media relations, public relations, and content marketing.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to achieve business goals
- Manage media relations and build relationships with key journalists and influencers
- Create and distribute press releases, bylined articles, and other media content
- Manage Tespire’s social media accounts and develop engaging content
- Oversee the production of marketing materials, such as brochures, newsletters, and website content
- Track and measure the effectiveness of communication campaigns
Duties/Responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in media relations, public relations, and content marketing
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in English language, both written and spoken

- Experience with social media management is a plus
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal is a plus
Extra:
- Experience with social media analytics tools such as Hootsuite or Sprout Social is a plus
- Experience with media monitoring tools such as Meltwater or Cision is a plus
- Fluency in other languages, such as French or Portuguese, is a plus
