Partnership & Business Development Manager

Job Summary

The Partnership and Business Development Manager is responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships and business relationships with key accounts, both old and new. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building relationships and have a strong track record of success in closing deals and growing revenue.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Oversee the work of the onboarding team.
  • Monitor and evaluate the sales performance of the team

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new partnership and business opportunities
  • Negotiate and close partnership and business deals
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key accounts
  • Develop and implement onboarding and training programs for new partners and customers
  • Work with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data
  • Identify and implement best practices for partnership and business development

Required Skills and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a Partnership or Business Development role
  • Strong track record of success in closing deals and growing revenue
  • Experience managing and maintaining relationships with key accounts
  • Experience with onboarding and training new partners and customers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in English language, both written and spoken

Experience

  • Experience in a Partnership or Business Development role, with a focus on managing old and new accounts, onboarding team, and monitoring sales performance.
  • Experience with partnership and business development for educational technology products.
  • Experience with OKRs monitoring.
  • Experience working in Nigeria.
  • Experience with CRM systems, such as Zoho CRM, Salesforce or HubSpot

  • Work Schedule: Hybrid, 4 days onsite and 1 day remote
