Product Manager Associate Graduate Intern

Job Summary

The Product Manager Associate – Graduate Intern will work closely with the Head of Product and Product Managers to support the ideation, development, and launch of new products and features for Tespire. This role is designed for a recent graduate who is eager to learn and contribute to product management within the ed-tech space. The intern will gain hands-on experience in the entire product development lifecycle, from market research to product launch, and will be assigned specific products to manage under the supervision of senior product managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in Market Research: Help in conducting market research to identify new product opportunities and trends in the education sector.
  • Support Product Development: Collaborate with designers and development teams to assist in the creation of product prototypes and the execution of development tasks.
  • Product Monitoring: Track product performance and gather user feedback, providing insights and recommendations for product improvements.
  • Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating tasks and deliverables, ensuring that product goals are met within set timelines.
  • Communication: Regularly report progress to the Head of Product and Product Managers, and participate in team meetings to provide updates on assigned tasks.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Guidance: While this is a learning role, the intern will have the opportunity to guide and oversee specific tasks related to their assigned products such as Tespire Extra and its addons under the mentorship of the Product Manager and Head of Product.

Required Skills and Education

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or Education Technology).
  • Interest in Product Management: A keen interest in product management, particularly within the technology and education sectors.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in English is required.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data to inform decisions.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project Management Tools: Familiarity with tools such as Trello, Jira, or Asana is a plus.
 

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in Education Technology: Previous experience or internships in ed-tech or related fields will be an advantage.Experience with OKRs monitoring
  • Experience working in from Nigeria
  • Experience with project management tools, such as Trello, Jira or Asana
